How I Got Rid of my Plantar Warts(Kulugo) with Zinc Sulfate

I noticed a round callous like fish eye on my foot and it hurts when I applied pressure on it. At first, I thought it was foot ulcer caused by diabetes. I'm not diabetic but I thought I was so I tried intermittent fasting, exercising and avoiding sweet foods but after 2 months the round callous was still there in my foot. I went to the hospital to have my sugar level tested at the same time have the doctor checked on the callous. My blood sugar level result turn out to be normal and the doctor diagnosed the callous as plantar wart. Here in the Philippines, the old people call it matang isda because it resembles the eye of a fish. The doctor suggested for it to be surgically removed but I rejected it. So I did some research in the internet and found some remedy that works well on getting rid of the plantar wart.

The most effective way of getting rid of plantar wart is by taking oral zinc sulfate for 3 months. Antibiotics won't work on it because the wart is caused by virus and not bacteria. When taking zinc sulfate your immune system is strengthened and it will help kill the virus. Maybe the sulfur in the zinc sulfate helps too. The brand I took was Conzace because it has 25mg of zinc sulfate. From what I read, the higher the dose of zinc sulfate is the better specially if you have large and many warts. All I can find here is Conzace that has zinc sulfate. While the cream that I applied externally in the wart is BL Cream. I apply the cream then cover it with duct tape, scotch tape will do as long as it is covered. Garlic works well too because it has zinc and sulfur. Try the method from the video below:

Zinc Sulfate itself works on getting rid the warts(plantar warts or genital warts) without using any cream or ointment and the suggested dose is 100mg to 220mg. Take it with Vitamin C because it has wound healing properties and boost too the immune system.

So I found a product here in the Philippines which contains 100mg of zinc sulfate. This SM CEE supplement is a lot better than Conzace that has only 25mg of zinc sulfate. I highly recommend this one if want to treat your warts:

How to plant Lemon Trees from Seeds and make it Bear Fruit in a Year

Most Lemon growers specially those who sell grafted or budded lemons would say that lemon plants grown from seeds would only produce fruits after 5 years. But for me, you can make it bear fruit within  a year as long as you give it three things it need, direct sunlight at least 8hrs a day, water and fertilizer.

When planting lemons, it needs to be at a place where it can give it direct sunlight. Not in a shaded part nor indirect sunlight. It needs full sun.

When the lemon plant is still young, you don't need to give it water everyday yet and fertilizer. When you water it, water it every 3 days or when the soil is dry. If you planted it in a container, the container should have a lot of drainage holes from the bottom and the sides like the air pruning pots. Lemons plants doesn't like the soil to hold water or else it will have root rot or fungus.

When the lemon plants is around 1 to 2 months and already has 4 leaves, you can start feeding it with nutrients and watering everyday. Lemon plants are heavy feeders so if you use synthetic fertilizer, dissolve it in water and give it to the lemon weekly. It needs to be in the afternoon when the sun is setting and 2 inch away from the plant to prevent burn. Water it first before apply the fertilizer. Remember, it needs to be weekly applied when using synthetic fertilizer because lemon plants are heavy feeders. I suggest using high nitrogen fertilizer like those are meant for citrus plants but you can also use 14-14-14 fertilizers.

Another fertilizer which I can recommend that works well with lemon plants and also free is urine. Urine is a complete fertilizer with high nitrogen and acidic that's why lemon plants love it. You can apply it everyday but for young lemon plants specially those that are in a container you need to dilute it. 1 Liter of Urine to 10 liters of water or a pail of water. Water it everyday in the afternoon. When your lemon plant is already a year and planted directly in the soil, no need for dilution. You can apply pure urine on it as long as you water only the soil and not the plant. It needs to be 2 inch away from the plant to prevent burn. Urine is an organic fertilizer so for those organic fanatics you can try this one.

Another alternative organic fertilizer is rice water or what they call "hugas bigas" in the Philippines. Wash the rice 3x and collect the water used then you can use it to water the lemon plant any time of the day.

If you do this tips, I am 100% sure your lemon plant from seeds will produce fruits within a year. Just continue doing this procedure if you want to have lemon fruits all year round. I suggest watering your lemon with urine. I also do this to my plants. Very effective.

Tips on Hot to Grow Calamansi Plant Fast (Pano Mag-alaga ng Calamansi mula sa Buto at Magbunga Agad)

This is one of the best way on how to grow your Calamansi Fast and make it bear fruit within one to two years.

1. First, the calamansi should be planted on a large container. Putting the calamansi plant on a container will make the roots stressed and as a result it will be forced to flower and bear fruits. Unlike when planted directly to the soil, the calamansi plant will grow its root and foliage first and will take around 5 to 10 years to bear fruit.

2. The container should have a lot of holes in the sides and bottom for air pruning. Air pruning will give it a better growth by oxygenating the roots and preventing root bound. You can drill the holes or melt it using soldering rod. There are also containers designed for air pruning like grow bags and aero pots.

3. Full sunlight at least 10hrs. Placed your calamansi plant that can provide it at least 10hrs of sunlight.

4. Water regularly but not everyday. Water only twice a week and if your plant is already 2 years old water only once a week to stress it and induce flowering. Continue watering once a week even when it started to produce fruits.

5. Feed twice a month. If you want your calamansi plant to grow really fast, you must feed it regularly twice a month either with organic or synthetic fertilizer with 14 days interval. Citrus plants need high nitrogen fertilizer like urine. If you want to use organic fertilizer then I recommend urine. Not only it is effective for making the calamansi plant grow fast and make it bear a lot of fruits, its also free. If your calamansi is in a container you need dilution. 1 Liter of Urine mix it to 10 liters of water, or a pail of water then apply it to your plant twice a month. If your plant is directly planted in the soil,  50% urine and 50% water. Apply it in the afternoon when the sun is going down to prevent nitrogen burn. If you want alternative organic fertilizer then you can use compost, vermicast, manure and apply twice a week in the afternoon. Another alternative is rice water or what they call hugas bigas in the Philippines. You can use it to water the calamansi everyday.

For synthetic fertilizers, you can use 14-14-14 complete fertilizer, 1 tbsp of 14-14-14 and dissolve it to 1 liter of water then use a can of sardine to measure it and drench 2 inch away from the stem. Don't apply on the leaves and directly on the plant or it else will die. Drench on the afternoon when the sun is setting down. Do this twice a month with 14-15 days interval.

6. You can start fertilizing your calamansi plant from seeds when it is already 1 month old. You can also use this same method with other citrus plants like lemons, lime, kiat, etc
